In keeping with the event’s tradition of dedicating each edition to a socially relevant theme, Foiling Week Pensacola 2025 will be inspired by #regeneration, a global approach to climate crisis, weaving biodiversity, human dignity, justice and climate into a mosaic of transformation actions that can end the climate crisis in one generation.

These are the goals of Sail Pensacola, the public charity incorporated in Florida, Hosting Partner of We Are Foiling for the organization of Foiling Week in the USA.

Sail Pensacola promotes high-performance sailing, recreational sailing, competitive sailing, sailing technology, and economic development related to sailing on the Pensacola Bay.

Sail Pensacola aspires to become the North American center for high performance sailing events, boat engineering, sail engineering, and technology development related to high-performance sailing.

Wind and waves make Pensacola and all Escambia County an outstanding venue for foiling.

Boat racing will take place in Pensacola Bay, while all the boards will foil the waves of the Gulf of Mexico in front of the Pensacola Beach Hilton Hotel and on the flat water of the Santa Rosa Sound, where a dedicated base will be established.

With over 460 years of rich history and 18 miles of sugar-white sand beaches bordered by the emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, visitors from all over the world are lured to Pensacola pristine shores every year.

The “South’s finest Yacht Club” is a charter member of the Gulf Yachting Association, of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs and of the United States Sailing Federation.

Foiling Week Race Committee and many of the competitor’s facilities will be based at the Pensacola Yacht Club that will also support the on water organization of the event.

Pensacola Beach Yacht Club is located on Santa Rosa Island, at the entrance to Pensacola Beach with amazing sunset views over Little Sabine Bay.

 “The Best Little Yacht Club on the Gulf” can trace its humble beginnings to a fun-loving group of boat owners who, in the late 1970’s either docked or lived aboard their boats in the only wet-slip marina on Little Sabine Bay on Pensacola Beach at the time.

Foiling Week tests and trials are open to sailors and beginners with the possibility to sail the latest foiling boats, boards and gears. New products, services and technologies can find their proper place in our Expo area, ready to be shown and appreciated by press, participants and public.

During the weekend the Foiling Week Village at Maritime Park will give the opportunity to watch close racing, visit an expo showcasing the latest in high-tech nautical equipment and apparel, listen to discussions on the evolution of foiling, and enjoy musical performances.

Sustainability, inclusivity, clinics, youth and women’s coaching and technical workshops will be highlights of the program.

The revenues will go towards the costs of a number of We Are Foiling initiatives, such as training programs dedicated to female and youth sailors and the free foiling boat test sessions held during Foiling Week.
