Welcome to the Foiling Week Cup, a thrilling virtual regatta featuring the AC40 Simulator. Below are the official rules and requirements for participation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

RACE FORMAT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • \u2014 Simulator: AC40 SIM set at 16 knots.<\/li>\n
  • \u2014 Crew: 4 sailors per team.<\/li>\n
  • \u2014 Controls: Steering, Boards, Mainsheet and traveler manual; all other controls are automated.<\/li>\n
  • \u2014 The race format will be a time trial format around an identical track.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    TEAM COMPOSITION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • \u2014 To represent a nation, at least 3 sailors must be from the same country. If multiple teams represent the same nation, the organization will assign appropriate team names.<\/li>\n
    • \u2014 If the national requirement is not met, teams may choose their own unique name.<\/li>\n
    • \u2014 Each team must include at least one sailor who is either under 24 years old or a woman.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      SLOT BOOKING<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Each team will be allotted a 30-minute slot, which includes:<\/p>\n

      • \u2014 2 trial runs<\/li>\n
      • \u2014 2 official races<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        PRIZES<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

        • \u2014 SLAM gears kit valued at \u20ac1,000<\/li>\n
        • \u2014 Free entry to the next Foiling Week event (\u20ac1,000 credit)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          WINNER DETERMINATION<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

          The winner will be the team with the best race time recorded between June 24th and June 29th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
